Project 7: Masterplan +

The project Masterplan+ aims to produce an adaptive policy for the long term development of the Maasvlakte 2 area.

Only recently we have seen new research emerge into concepts of adaptive policy design, recognizing the problem of so-called deep uncertainty, in the future environment of the port of Rotterdam. In the project we follow up on the latest research, focusing on the Maasvlakte 2 Masterplan.

The expected result is a prototype for a new generation of Masterplans, that take into account possible fundamental changes in design parameters.
