Memorandum of Understanding
The Next Generation Infrastructures foundation (NGInfra) and the Indian Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize a partnership that will facilitate the development of modeling and simulation projects, chiefly in the realm of policy analysis. The two institutions look forward to “cooperation in advanced research and dissemination of knowledge on the planning, design, operation, management and governance of infrastructure systems and the innovation of infrastructure systems and services.”
The Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP) in Bangalore, India is a non-profit think tank performing cutting edge science and technology research applied to the areas of human development, economic growth and national security. We approach problems in an interdisciplinary way, utilizing modeling, simulations, gaming and analysis within a global context, focusing on Indian challenges. We view technology as a vital ingredient for progress but recognize that it should be harnessed with a holistic approach, which takes into account economics, sustainability and equitable growth.
