In de afgelopen dertig jaar is haast ongemerkt een nieuwe infrastructuur ontstaan. Na een bescheiden start als gast van bestaande telefoonlijnen en coaxkabels heeft deze nieuwkomer zich via netwerken van glasvezels door ons land weten te verspreiden en is nu zelfs bezig ons luchtruim te veroveren.
